Correlation of the Composition of Metal and Patina in Bronze Rivets of a Leather Vessel from Kichigino-I

The paper investigates bronze rivets of a leather vessel from the burial ground Kichigino-I. These products small size are intensively corroded, which makes it impossible to strip them down metal. study patinated surface was carried out by X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) patina and relic metal scanning electron microscopy (SEM). results showed that were made arsenic-tin bronzes with an admixture lead. qualitatively corresponds composition original metal, but has differences determined ratio its components. Differences in quantitative ratios do not exceed 100% relative, nature changes cannot be predicted. They can change both direction increasing decreasing content each minor components (arsenic, tin) patina. Comparison XRD SEM reflects parent certain accuracy, systematic overestimation contents lead, tin, arsenic.
